AARIA

Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 3, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Siddharth Kedharnath, operating as ARIA (“ARIA”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), collects, uses, and protects information when local appointment-based businesses (our “business customers”) use ARIA to send appointment reminders, booking confirmations, and review-request text messages to their own customers.

1. Information We Collect

When a business customer connects their booking system to ARIA, we collect the following categories of information on their behalf:

  • Contact information: the name and mobile phone number of the business customer’s client, as provided by that client at the time of booking.
  • Appointment details: appointment date, time, service type, and location, used to generate reminder and confirmation messages.
  • Message activity: delivery status, opt-in/opt-out status, and reply keywords (such as STOP or HELP) associated with a phone number.
  • Website contact form data: if you submit our contact form, we collect your name, email, phone number, and message.

2. How We Use Information

We use the information above solely to:

  • Send appointment reminders and booking confirmations by SMS.
  • Send review-request messages after a completed appointment.
  • Honor opt-out (STOP) and help (HELP) requests immediately.
  • Provide customer support to our business customers and respond to inquiries submitted through our contact form.
  • Maintain records required for SMS carrier and regulatory compliance (e.g., proof of consent, delivery logs).

3. How We Share Information

Mobile opt-in information and phone numbers are not shared with or sold to any third parties for marketing purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.

We share information only with the service providers strictly necessary to deliver our messaging service (such as our SMS carrier/gateway provider and hosting infrastructure), and only to the extent needed to send messages and keep the service running. These providers are contractually restricted from using the information for any other purpose.

We may also disclose information if required to do so by law, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of ARIA, our business customers, or the public.

4. Data Retention

We retain phone numbers, appointment details, and message activity logs for as long as a business customer maintains an active account with ARIA, and for a reasonable period afterward as needed to comply with carrier record-keeping requirements and resolve disputes. Data associated with a phone number that has opted out is retained only as a suppression record, to ensure we never message that number again.

5. How to Opt Out

Recipients of text messages from ARIA can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. After opting out, that phone number will not receive further messages from ARIA unless the recipient opts back in. Replying HELP to any message will return support contact information.

You may also request removal of your information by contacting us directly at sid@arialocal.com.

6. Data Security

We use commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect the information we handle from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.

7. Children’s Privacy

Our services are not directed to individuals under the age of 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date.
